Wow! What a year 2020 has been. It’s been crazy for sure and we are not through it yet! However, I would propose this is the best time to be in this business and this year is the best year to work. Why? Am I crazy? Let me tell you why.
People are tired. People are stressed. People need people. People need to see their children, their grandchildren. They need hugs. They need love. We are being told to stay home as much as possible, cancel Thanksgiving group or family gatherings.
Most importantly people need TLC. They need some Tender Loving Care or pampering. We all need to feel good. We need a little “pick-me-up”. We need to feel good about ourselves. We need the feeling of a small sense of normalcy.
People need us!!!
In this business, getting your hair cut, a “new do”, a mani/pedi, skin treatments, spray tanned, whatever it is that makes you feel good, is much needed for a positive mental health. And we are the lucky ones to provide those services to our clients.
